Birth Support Plan

Services include the following:

• Up to four prenatal meetings (topics variable and based on your interests and needs).
• Access to lending library and research assistance on areas of interest.
• On call period beginning at 37 weeks.
• Labor support in home and/or hospital beginning when you desire it and continuing through birth and during the first several hours postpartum.
• 1-2 postpartum visits.
• Additional postpartum support available for my clients at an hourly rate.

I offer this package on a sliding scale, and I am willing to work on barter arrangements and to offer reduced fees or free care in certain situations.

Prenatal Support

Single meetings designed for women and families who may not want an outside support person present during labor but would like access to additional planning or assistance during pregnancy.  My services are varied and could include childbirth education for family members to be present during labor; processing of previous birth experiences; planning around special circumstances for birth and/or the postpartum period; bedrest support; and skills around making decisions through pregnancy and parenting.

Single meetings are $50.00 and can be scheduled for 2-3 hour blocks.  The cost will be deducted from the Birth Support fee if you later decide you would like labor support.
